Cameras

 

One of the determining factors in inspecting and repairing pipelines is how well you can observe what is happening in the pipe. At KRE we have developed rugged and economical cameras with unprecedented picture clarity to allow an unobstructed view of whats happening inside the pipe.

For each situation a different camera may be required, our design team has kept this in mind when developing these cameras and a great degree of flexibility has been engineered into these devices. All of our cameras as pressurised, water proofed and sealed in a shock proof casing to ensure that they can handle the toughest workloads and still remain reliable.
Pan & Rotate Camera
The exceptional pan and rotate capabilities of the SPT-0-000, coupled with its use of the latest in remote focus digital imaging technology provides a full 360 degree rotational field of view with unprecedented picture clarity. It features twin halogen globes on either side of the camera head and a ring of ultrabright white LEDs encircling the iris. These lights in themselves provide excellent illumination of the pipe interior but addiitional external light may be added for increased luminance.

The camera is cost effective, and reliable with its shockproof and waterproof housing designed to handle the toughest conditions. This camera is excellent for use with our inspection robots and can be used on either the 6WD or 4WD tractors.

Pan Cutting Camera
The colour pan camera has exceptional pan capabilities of 290 degrees, combined with its use of the latest in remote focus digital imaging technology, it provides a full 290 degrees pan field of view with unprecedented picture clarity.

The panning camera has been developed in a waterproof, shockproof housing that can withstand the unhospitable conditions that are experienced in pipeline systems. It is primarilty used with the KRE cutting system, providing exceptional picture quality to the operator thereby allowing him/her to perform cutting operations quickly, accurately and with a minimum of fuss.
Straight-Shot Camera
The straightshot camera was created under the design brief for a grouting camera where overall reliability and ruggedness were required. It has lived up to that design brief, being the sturdiest and most reliable camera we manufacture. It is simplistic in its design with no moving parts and few internal components which means that it can handle the rough day to day work that other cameras simply break down under.

The camera has a shockproof casing that is waterproof and pressurised for operation. The camera is eqipped with a ring of internal lights encircling the camera lens, however there is a 2-pin plug on the back of the camera to allow for additional external lights to be plugged in.
