CCTV Inspection Systems

One of the first stages of pipeline rehabilition is an inspection of the pipe to determine the state of repair it is in. Your rehabilitation works are only going to be as good as your inspection and KRE has the expertise and experience to handle all your robotic inspection requirements.

Our rugged and cost effective solutions will allow you an unprecedented view of whats going on inside the pipe and present to your client a detailed and thorough report that will ensure both the clients and your satisfaction. As a standard, we currently offer solutions for inspecting pipe sizes ranging from under 150mm to in excess of 800mm, however custom built options are available to suit almost any pipe or situation.

PIC Inspectors

KREs range of Pic Inspectors are designed for inspection of pipes where a full CCTV robot may have difficulty exploring due to small diameter, excessive bends or vertical nature of a pipe. It is especially suited also for operators who may not be able to afford a full survey system but still require the ability to get inside pipes and conduct a report.

All systems feature adjustable lighting, self leveling camera heads, 70m pushrod, Text generator with onscreen meterage.

Porta-Plus:
Designed for light weight and portablility the porta-plus features a 18cm TFT LCD display, is battery operated (can be charged either by 240VAC 50hz, or DC12V), light weight for portability(17Kgs) and can be charged on site from a cigarette lighter.

View-Plus:
Designed for increased viewing area and ease or recording the viewplus comes with a 25cm display, space for a VCR, seperate reel, requires 240vAC supply.

The 300mm to 600mm cutter was designed to fill the gap in cutting for pipe sizes that were larger than 150mm-225mm. The pipe conditions are slightly different for larger pipes with greater incidence of larger debris and other factors.

The 300mm-600mm cutter combats these tough conditions using two high powered electric motors for indepentant drive of each side of the cutter. The large rubber wheels offer great traction and also the ability to climb over minor obstructions that smaller cutters simply would not be able to get over.

The 300mm-600mm tractor also offers the ultimate in configurability. By simply changing the wheels, remounting the camera and adjusting the cutting head, the cutter can be fit into 300mm pipe. All these changes can be done on site in a few minutes with a mininimum of fuss.

Powerful light heads and the latest in CCTV technology allow for unprecedented viewing of pipelines whilst the range of cutting heads available allows for the smooth and accurate cutting of any material.

The Cutter Control unit provides the interface through which the user controls the cutter and the cutter recieves power. The cutter is connected to the cable reel which connects to the control panel. Some functions on the unit are not available on all cutters, for instance the individual motor controls are not used with the 150-225 cutter. This is because there is only has one motor to save space. We only manufacture one control unit regardless of the system to increase the economy of our systems as well as to allowing any of our cutting systems to be run off the same box hence making upgrading to a larger cutter very cost effective.

The Control Unit plugs into an ordinary 240V 50Hz AC power outlet, however, it can be modified to run off other power sources. Further information can be found by clicking on Data Sheets in the menu.
